This past weekend we had the adventure of helping to produce the Ride for Life Chicago event with our client, Test Positive Aware Network (TPAN). Formerly Ride for AIDS Chicago, TPAN rebranded the event this year to be more inclusive of the organization’s overall programming – including things like “Paws n’ Effect,” an animal companionship program, and “The Tea Room,” an on-site gathering space for social and educational engagement.
Ride for Life Chicago took riders 200 miles round trip – from Chicago to Sawyer, Michigan and back. This year, the Opening and Closing site was moved from Evanston to Chicago at Winnemac Park, which is located near TPAN’s offices and convenient for many of the riders. The weather was absolutely perfect on Saturday for Day 1, and while rain put a bit of a damper on Day 2, the temperatures were comfortable and the skies cleared up in time for a beautiful Closing Ceremony.
More than 120 riders, 40 crew, volunteers, and TPAN supporters all joined together to make the 16th Annual event a success. Our Event 360 team executed and brought their best, which was evidenced by the feedback we heard all weekend. It is always an honor to hear the words “We couldn’t do this event without you!” from the individuals who are so closely involved.
It was a weekend to see all of our Event 360 values in action, including great people, uncompromising standards and transparent success.
