The Event 360 Information Technology team has been hard at work, as always, completing work on the Colon Cancer Alliance's Undy 5000 event website. This event series, a 5K walk/run to raise awareness for colorectal cancer, encourages participants to draw attention to their "bottoms" by wearing their underwear to the event.
The Colon Cancer Alliance (CCA) approached Event 360 to build the original Undy 5000 site and were very pleased with the outcome. With the rapid expansion of the event following the original site launch, the CCA determined that they needed to make some improvements, including better navigation and enhanced participant interaction on the Undy 5000 site. Their final goal for this event site was to make it look and feel more like the CCA website. By building a new wire frame and site map and working with a designer to make the Undy 5000 site look the way the CCA desired, Event 360 achieved all of these outcomes for the CCA with the site redesign. Users of the new site have even commented on the ease of navigation, which has been very rewarding feedback for the CCA.
Andrea Clay, Events Manager for the CCA, said "One of the great things about working with Event 360 is their enthusiasm and commitment to make our events successful. It does not feel like a typical client relationship - it feels like Event 360 is keenly interested in helping us achieve our mission."
