Kari Bodell

Vice President, Susan G. Komen for the Cure Projects

Kari and her team are contributing to the fulfillment of Susan G. Komen for the Cure's "promise to end breast cancer forever" by creating and executing innovative and impactful events. She currently works on the Susan G. Komen Global Race for the Cure, a large scale, 5K fundraising and awareness event on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. and Susan G. Komen On the Go, an immersive, interactive cross-country tour designed to engage people, primarily young women and minorities, in the global movement to end breast cancer. Kari's passion for education, advocacy and empowerment make her a perfect fit for these projects and for building our relationship with Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

With over 14 years of experience in event production and having led the Breast Cancer 3-Day and Out of the Darkness Overnight while at Event 360, Kari is a seasoned project manager. Prior to coming to Event 360, she worked in Student Development at Pace University, in Alumni Relations at American University and for the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games. Kari loves her job because it affords her the opportunity to travel, explore and, above all, to meet and work with incredible people who are committed to leaving the world a better place than they found it.
