Jono Smith

Jono Smith created his first fundraising event in 1993 on behalf of the Santa Monica-UCLA Rape Treatment Center, and has been working to bring good marketing practices to nonprofits and corporations ever since. As Event 360's vice president of marketing and sales, Jono is responsible for helping Event 360's clients grow their fundraising results.

Before joining Event 360, Jono was vice president of nonprofit marketing at Network for Good, a leading provider of online fundraising services to nonprofits. At Network for Good, Jono was instrumental in the launch of Fundraising123.org.  Jono's work experience includes time in London, England where he was Director of Marketing for SunGard Higher Education, helping colleges and universities in Europe and the Middle East use online technologies to better serve their students. Jono also served in the Clinton White House as a Special Assistant to the Director of Communications.

Jono holds an undergraduate degree in English and Theatre Arts Loyola Marymount University and currently lives in Washington, D.C. A fourth-generation San Franciscan, Jono is a die-hard 49ers fan, still waiting for that elusive Giants World Series win.
