about » 2008 Breast Cancer 3-Day Report Card Released
One major highlight of the 2008 Report Card is the announcement that the 2008 Breast Cancer 3-Day series raised more than $110 million through donations, contributions and sponsorships. Incredibly, the return to charity on this number is 72%, which exceeds the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Standards for Charity Accountability. The Report Card also provides information on how some of the funds raised by the Breast Cancer 3-Day series are utilized by the beneficiaries. Visit the Breast Cancer 3-Day website to view the 2008 Report Card in its entirety.
Event 360 has worked for six years to make the Breast Cancer 3-Day an exceptional and unforgettable experience for everyone involved, from the walkers, crew and volunteers to the beneficiaries. The Breast Cancer 3-Day began in 2003 with just three events raising 20 million dollars. With 14 events in 2008 and 15 slated for 2009, the 3-Day series boasted its highest fundraising total ever last season, raising more 100 million dollars. Event 360 strives to not only create a greater return on investment for Susan G. Komen for the Cure® and National Philanthropic Trust, but to produce a better event series year after year.
